Who groups? uGroups!!!!!

Greetings uFamily!


Something pretty amazing has been happening in the Bay Area the last 2 months: uGroups! "What is uGroups?!", you ask? Well, it is a get together planned by our counselors for our campers to see each other during the school year in between camp sessions!

In past years, there have been a few uGroups events, but this year, we are having a consistent flow of fun events (and boy, are they fun!!!)  leading up to summer camp this year. We are happy to announce that both of this year's events have been a HUGE success!!!! Lots of friends, smiles, and memories are being made!! :)








The first uGroups event was a ice cream social picnic in Civic Park in Walnut Creek. After everyone finished their yummy s'mores flavored ice cream sandwiches, we had a great campfire led by some of our wonderful LITs with AWESOME performances from our talented campers!!!!

For the second uGroups event, uCampers joined together in Walnut Creek to enjoy the Lego Movie and frozen yogurt. When trying describe this event all that comes to mind is EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!!!!!! People say that nothing is better than going to the movies with some of your closest friends, and after this uGroups event, that statement has been proven true!!!!

You may be wondering when is the next uGroups event? There is no longer any need to wonder, because all the information you need to know is below!




Who?: Any uCamps campers and their friends!
What?: Kickball and camp games
When?: April 12, 2014 from 4:00pm-6:30pm
Where?: Civic Park in Walnut Creek
Why?: Because ... CAMP FUN YEAH!!!
How?:  Mark the date on the calendar, sign the release form (unless you have attended a previous uGroups event and have already turned one in), pick out a super cool outfit that you can move in, and show up when the event starts  with your release form and have a super awesome time!!!!




It is so great seeing all of the happy, shining faces of our campers more than just during camp sessions!!!!
